leftovers exhibition (2025)

Exhibition Curator & Event Organiser

Leftovers Exhibition was an immersive, multi-sensory exhibition that took place at Goodspace Gallery on June 4th, 2025. The exhibition explored how culture endures in the face of displacement, loss and transformation – reflecting on what is left behind, what is carried forward and how traditions adapt across time, place and migration. The exhibition featured artworks and films from 16 contributing artists, and the event was soundtracked with live performances by MzRizk, Farazzled, Mo Aung, Jonathan Chalouhi, Jiafeng Li and Arslan Khan. A selection of food offerings were prepared for the event by Gayathiri Manoharan and Athalia Joseph, drawing upon personal and ancestral recipes from their culture lineage. The sold-out exhibition raised a total of $4,500 for medical aid in Gaza, donated to the Sameer Project and Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
